Two Old Bats Mid May Halloween Challenge Reminder

 Hello Halloween Lovers,


I am here today to remind you that there is still time to join in the fun at the Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge.  This is my Mid-May Reminder.


Here is my card for the Two Old Bats Mid May Reminder:

 


Ingredients:

Copic markers
Embossing Folder
Black paper


I love the Adornit Paintable, but I forget to use them!  I decided to color this one up for the May Mid Month Reminder post.  I think that witch is really cute!  I took some Black Coordinations papers and and Embossing folder and ran it through my Vagabond.  I than took my sanding tool and sanded it down a bit to show the color underneath and I added it to the White card base.  I took the Adornit Witch and cut around the edges with some old deckle scissors, inked the edges with Black ink and added it to the card.  I hope you like my card and that you will join us for this challenge.

Peace On Earth Christmas Challenge #63

Hello Christmas Lovers,


Today is the start of a new challenge over on the Peace On Earth Christmas Challenge Blog ~ POE Challenge #63.    We are a Year Round Christmas Challenge Blog.  We have a beautiful Inspiration Board to help get your creative ideas flowing!


Here is my card for POE Challenge #63:



Ingredients:

White card stock
Stamperia Pink Christmas paper
Spellbinders Sweet Birds on a branch dies
Sizzix Merry Christmas dies
Pink metallic paper
Pink paper
Black paper
Brown paper
Victorian Velvet distress oxide
5 1/2 inch square card base


For this card I took a 5 1/2 inch square card base and a piece of Stamperia Pink Christmas paper, inked the edges with Victorian Velvet distress oxide and added that to the card base.   I took the Spellbinders Sweet Birds on a Branch die set and assorted paper scraps and cut out the branch, leaves and birds and added them to the card.  I was inspired to make this card from all the Pink Christmas photos on the Inspiration Board shown below.

Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge for May

 Hello Ghoul Friends,


Today is the start of a new Halloween Challenge over on the Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge Blog ~ Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge for May. We have a fun Inspiration Board to help you get started!  We are a year round Halloween Challenge because we are all a bit batty for Spooky cards!  I hope you will join us for this fun Challenge!


Here is my card for the Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge for May:



Ingredients:

Quickutz Tree die
Quickutz Spider web die
Lawn Fawn Leaves die
Neenah Solar White paper
White card stock
White Glitter paper
Black paper
Brown paper
Boo stamp
Black ink
Yellow gems
Distress oxides

I decided to make a slimline card so I took White card stock and made the base of the card.  I took a piece of Neenah Solar White paper and several different Distress Oxides and applied them randomly onto the paper and than I spritzed it with water and dried it with my heat gun.  I took some Brown paper and the Quickutz Tree die and cut out the tree and added it to the paper.  I took some Black paper and the Tim Holtz Sizzix Mischievous cat dies and cut them out and added them to the tree.  I took some leaves that I had in my stash and added them to the card.  I took the White Glitter paper and the Quickutz Spider Web die and cut it out and than I cut out a corner of it and added it to the card.  I took the Boo stamp and some Black ink and stamped that onto the card.  I took some Yellow Gems and added them to the cats.  I was inspired to make this card from the top right picture on the Inspiration Board below.

Four Seasons Challenge ~ May ~ Anything Goes SPRING

 Hello Friends,


Happy May 1st!  Can you believe that we are already in May!  It sure is nice to see everything starting to bloom again!  With the 1st of the new month comes the Four Seasons Challenge!  Our theme for May is Anything Goes SPRING!  We want to see anything that represents SPRING on your crafty project.  We do have an Inspiration Board to help get you started and we can't wait to see what you create for this challenge!  


Here is my card for the May Four Seasons Challenge:



Ingredients:

White Card Base
Green paper
Sky paper
Neenah Solar White paper
Copic markers
Black ink

For this card I took a White Card Base and I added the Blue Sky paper.  I took the Lawn Fawn Meadow Backdrop die and some Green paper and cut that out and added that to the card base.  I took the Clouds die from the Lawn Fawn Meadow Backdrop and some White paper and cut tout the clouds and added them to the sky.  I took the Lawn Fawn Happy Couples stamp set and some Black ink and stamped that onto some Neenah Solar White paper.  I colored it in with Copic markers and than cut it out with the Lawn Fawn Happy Couples Lawn Cuts.  I stamped the critters from the Happy Couples set with Black ink onto more of the Neenah Solar White paper and colored them with Copic makers and than cut them out with the Happy Couples Lawn Cuts and added them to the card.  I took the sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Butterfy Kisses stamp set and some Black ink and stamped that on the bottom of the card.   I was inspired to make this card from all the floral photos on the Inspiration Board pictured below.

Peace On Earth Christmas Challenge #62


Hello Christmas Lovers,


Today is the start of a new challenge over on the Peace On Earth Christmas Challenge Blog ~ POE Challenge #62.    We have a beautiful Inspiration Board to help get your creative ideas flowing!


Here is my card for POE Challenge #62:



Ingredients:

White card stock
Red & White Striped paper
Neenah Desert Storm paper
Different Green papers
Red paper
Tea Dye Distress Ink

I started by making the card base with White card stock.  I took the Red and White striped paper and cut that out with the Gina Marie Petite Looped Lace Rectangle die and added that to the card base.  I took a piece of Neenah Desert Storm paper and the Honey Bee Lovely Layers Rattan Basket and cut that out.  I took some Tea Dye distress ink and applied that to the basket.  I took assorted Green papers and the Greetery Big Branches Eucalyptus die and the Tim Holtz Sizzix Holiday Brushstroke 2 dies and cut out the greenery and added it to the basket and added it to the card.  I took some Red paper and the Greetery Fit to Be Tied die and cut out the bow and added it to the basket.  I was inspired to make this card from the below Inspiration Boards top right picture and the lower right picture with the bottles of greens in them.

Be Brave

 Hello Halloween Lovers,


I am here today to remind you that there is still time to join in the fun at the Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge.  This is my Mid-April Reminder.  For my reminder card I decided to go with a big spooky Spider Web and some spiders!






For this card I took some Black paper and stamped the Unity Stamps Entanglement stamp with Versamark ink onto the paper.  I heat embossed it with Artic White embossing powder.  Next I took some Red Shimmer paper and the Spider dies and the Be Brave die and cut them out with the Red paper and added them to the card.  I took some White Shimmer paper and cut out the long spider die and added it to the card.  I took some White Pearls and added them to the Red spiders and I took some Red gems and added them to the White Spider. I was inspired to make this from the top right photo on the Inspiration Board below with the spider web hanging from the tree branch.

There is Magic about You!

 Hi Friends,


Today I am sharing this card that I made using some of my favorite Fairy Hugs stamps.



Ingredients:

Neenah Solar White paper
White card card stock
Black ink
Distressed edge ruler

For this 5 1/2 inch square cars I started by making the card base with White card stock.  I took the Fairy Hugs Fairy~Scapes Sea Fair paper and ripped the edges with the Distressed Edge ruler, inked the edges with Salvaged Patina distress oxide and added it to the card base.  I took a piece of Neenah Solar White paper and added different distress oxides to the paper and spritzed it with water.  When it was dry I took the Black ink and the Fairy Hugs stamp Lantana and stamped her onto the paper.  I took the Fairy Hugs stamps Make A Wish and the Kitsch Pink distress oxide and stamped that onto the paper.  I took the Distressed edge ruler and ripped all the edges and than inked them with Salvaged Patina distress oxide. and added that to the card.  I took some White paper, Black ink and the Fairy Hugs stamps About You stamp and stamped that onto the paper and ripped the edges with ruler and inked the edges with Salvaged Patina distress ink and added that to the card.  I took the stars stamp from the Fairy Hugs stamps Stardust Wishes Set and Salvaged Patina distress oxide and stamped the stars around the card.
